Not the first time I’ve seen this issue addressed in comic books, but most appropriate for this group.
Spinnerette had Tiger with this problem.
Key and Peele also covered it with Power Falcons.
Now, will Dynamo be the Lone Sane Guy in this group, or will he be as bad as the rest?
Oh wow, I hadn’t seen that Key & Peele sketch. LOL! I never did understand how the Power Rangers got away with the black ranger being black and the yellow ranger being Asian…
I think Dynamo needs to start calling him “White Mr. Excellent” until he gets the point.
Of course, that could be a looooong time until that happens. Seems as though Mr. Excellent has taken a few too many blows to the head. (I wonder how much of an issue that is with super heroes.)
I wouldn’t blame Dynamo if he wanted to avoid explaining that to the criminal-justice system. Or if, you know, he doesn’t think you can solve complex social-justice issues by punching them. Holy intersectionality, Gyno-star?
I’m pretty sure that Dynamo will turn out to be wrong in this story, just because a comic about a superheroine whose schtick is to go out and solve sexism by punching people in the face can’t have her learn the lesson that she can’t do that.

She’s certainly beaten up Vlad, Stay-at-Home-Mommy and The Objectifier! I mean, you know what you’re doing.
It’s like how Batman can’t ever solve urban crime, much less get over his parents’ deaths, by punching crooks in the face. In fact, he can’t ever solve those problems at all (except for the first half of a story like “Perchance to Dream”) because that would take away his reason to be Batman.
But for the same reason, Spider-Man can’t learn that he can’t solve any of his real problems by putting on a costume and punching people in the face (except for the second act of a story like Spider-Man 2).
Unless you’re going to blow up the premise of your webcomic, Gyno-Star is never going to learn the lesson that she can’t solve sexism by punching people in the face and have it stick. That’s all I’m saying.
Love Mr. Excellent’s pose in panel two; wonder what Little Sappho’s antenna would make of him? Just because someone should logically be your ally doesn’t mean they aren’t an asshat.
On another note, your art continues to achieve your aims and exceed your needs. It’s not just satire, it’s artful satire. The subtleties of Mr. Excellent’s costume and construction are integral to the joke. He looks like Superman wearing a mash-up of Captain America and Wonder Woman’s costume with an echo of Mr. Terrific there. But the face is from a thousand pieces of advertising copy.
I generally deliver my humor with a blunt object, but you always pick the sharpest tool in the drawer. Well done.
“Psst, hey! Asian Hammer? Do you think Black Dynamo knows he’s black? Maybe Lady Doomhawk has bewitched him so he thinks he’s white? What trickery could she be up to?”
Reminds me of “Black Tiger’s” frustrations over at Spinnerette.
There’s an underlying problem though, with one-word superhero names that are also common words. “Tiger” isn’t distinctive enough; it could refer to a big cat in a zoo. Put two words together though, and we have a title distinctive enough to refer only to a particular superhero.
Never said the adjective needs to be “black” of course.

Depends on the hero, I guess… If you’re invulnerable, then head blows probably won’t be too much of a problem.
