Episode 325: Fetus Don’t Fail Me Now
He’s back! Everyone’s favorite cyborg fetus, the one and only: Douglas! Maybe having a purpose in “life” will improve his attitude?

Let us hope this is just not him rebelling agaisnt his mother.
I need to run a cyberpunk RPG now. I have an idea for a new character.
Shit just got real!!
I can just hear Happy Homemaker furiously cleaning up her jail cell upon hearing about this, this … turn coat!
But but… I thought Douglas had attained the sweet release of death!

You know how it is with those supers. Death is common. Staying death not so much…
That was my immediate thought. Now my second thought is how was that suit designed and who built it. He may be a genius (though I’m not certain if that was really established) but there’s no way he could have built that thing with those tiny little “hands”.
Wow! Bodily Rights gets undermined. 😀
Btw typo in second word balloon *personal.
Thanks for the heads up.
Robot bodies for all! (Except the head of Nixon… we’ve seen how well that worked out.)
I wonder what Douglas’ stance on abortion is. That is, if he includes adult women in “every person”. (Which would lead to the stance that abortion is okay, but the state has to give the fetus it’s own robot body?)
Or maybe he is pro-choice and doesn’t include other fetuses who don’t have his intellectual capabilities in “every person”. After all, the average fetus would not know what to do with a robot body.
Has there ever been an origin story for Douglas? I can’t remember if his “stay at home mom” is even his real mother, or maybe she just “rescued” the aborted fetus of another woman, manipulated it so that it would never grow up, gave it the ability to think and talk, and put it in her pantry.
From what he said about the sweet release of death, I suppose he is more against what his mother did to him than against abortions.
