About the Comic
Welcome to “The Adventures of Gyno-Star,” where you can follow the exploits of Gyno-Star, the world’s favorite feminist superhero, fighting the forces of evil and male chauvinism.
This is a gag-a-day comic that also has an ongoing story with distinct, self-contained arcs. Story arcs can be read and enjoyed in any order without too much confusion (check out the drop-down list on the main page). I recommend starting with the League of Superheroes story line. You won’t regret it.
New comics are posted whenever they’re finished. If you don’t want to keep checking back for updates, I recommend following me on the website formerly known as Twitter (see below), or you can subscribe via email (left sidebar). That way you’ll be sure not to miss an update.

I just discovered this comic, and I wanted to say that is funny and awesome, which means, you are funny and awesome! Keep it up!
Thank you so much! 🙂
Recently discovered this webcomic, and I’m addicted as hell. I don’t know a whole lot of explicitly feminist webcomics – can you recommend some? So far I only know Sinfest (got openly feminist last year) and Viruscomix (sometimes).
In any case, I’ll continue to spread the word! 🙂 Would love to support you, but I don’t see a flattr button or anything?
I’m so pleased that you’re enjoying the comic. I never heard of Flattr before, but I’ll certainly look into it. In the meantime, I added a “Donate” button. Thanks for the suggestion.
As for other feminist webcomics, I believe there are a few out there. There are certainly some that touch on feminist topics now & then. “Hark A Vagrant” is well known, and Kate or Die! is another good one.
When you get a few moments, updating the Cast listing would be a great idea. A *lot* of characters have been introduced in the comic, and very few are represented above.
Save some time and make life easier on yourself. I feel sure everyone would be well pleased with captures of existing art for portraits of characters, rather than the hand drawn ones above (although they are *really* nice).
That’s a good idea. I’ll definitely do that when I get a chance.
