“But I mean it’s also *party* about how attractive I am…”
So true. Different (obnoxious) people may want to see different things…
…a demure, embarrassed look…
…a pretty blush…
A superheroine finally throwing an obnoxious harasser through a cement wall using comic book physics!
That is the part that is a less subjective demonstration of the benefits of good health! It is the part that impresses the evopsych male with the fact that this female who will never mate with him, is worthy to mate with him even if the reverse happens not to be true!
Erm, while my troll foot is in my mouth, intended meaning of reverse is just that evopsych male is not worthy to mate with…I hope people will understand what I mean.
Heck, odds are there are men with “girls in armor” fetishes who’d find this look far sexier than even the bloated one The Objectifier hit her with. There are probably websites to prove this but this is one time when I’d be afraid to be proven correct…
Hell, there’s a few flks out there who, to hear how they gush over the details and craftsmanship of the stuff, that it’s the armor alone that they find sexy, with or without the woman inside it…
Anyone else think there’s some flagrant stereotyping going on with the cat-calling construction workers in this strip? I mean, it helps shorthand the reference to cat-callers, but you know…
If I didn’t see cat-calling portrayals almost always involve construction workers, I probably wouldn’t have thought twice about it.
Raises the question of when is stereotyping a problem. I would guess it’s generally when a member of a group feels pretty automatically like they have to overcome some negative stereotype. I can imagine I would feel self-conscious talking to a woman if I were wearing a construction worker gear, based on stereotypes.
Either you get rid of catcalling, (boring, unrealistic, ideologically arrogant) or you teach everyone to talk really good shit. (fun, challenging, flawless plan)
Married With Children used this approach. Watching it was like a mental self-defense course.
No, she didn’t. But if you want it to be imaginary then you can imagine that this strip is imaginary too. I’ll never say for sure what’s canon, so people can argue about it until the end of time.

Aside from the arguable inherent horribleness of the comment above, the mistyped quote *party* should have been *partly*.

I lose the Internet.
Nah, your comment made sense the first time.

This seems like a good time to heed the maxim: Never google it.
Or Tumblr it…but yes, there are men who find women in full armor sexy.
And even some women…
Hell, there’s a few flks out there who, to hear how they gush over the details and craftsmanship of the stuff, that it’s the armor alone that they find sexy, with or without the woman inside it…
Think Xena Warrior Princess, people. That may have been leather she was wearing but nobody would dare call it a corset.

I’m confused. Because it’s a stereotype that construction workers cat-call women, we’re supposed to pretend that they never do that?

Construction workers will be okay.
I don’t think most of the guys on the recent catcalling video were white male construction workers. They must have been edited out.

I wish that solution were feasible.
Vain Gyno-Star is *adorable*.
Don’t tell her that, it’ll only feed the beast.
A creep knows no boundaries.
I thought the armor was an imaginary sequence in the previous strip.
Didn’t she say ‘What if…?’
No, she didn’t. But if you want it to be imaginary then you can imagine that this strip is imaginary too. I’ll never say for sure what’s canon, so people can argue about it until the end of time.
She could make them shake their “thangs” for her then see how they felt. Probably not so hot.
