I couldn’t agree more.

I’d make the “I came out to attack people and am having a good time.” joke. XD But it feels a little inadequate here.

Destruction of private property is not how you reduce the distribution of hate speech. I have that great speech at the end of “The American President” going through my head. “‘You want free speech? Let’s see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who’s standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.”
It’s debatable whether violence is an ethical or effective means to stymie fascism (see: the paradox of tolerance). But reducing the distribution of hate speech is is a worthwhile goal.
