funny white working class call me all sorts of names…just because I hold a mirror up to them. 🙂
Love the new hairdo there 😛
And *never* go full white working-class.
White unemployed class is best!!!
Nah, she will need to wear one of those white vest things with the beer stains and soiled baseball cap for that.
Inquiring minds want to know: did you have this panel in mind when you drew the previous one, or did you write this new arc during the last four months?
Has it really been four months?? Wow, sorry for the long gap. To answer your question, I wrote this comic during the past month. Before I stopped updating in September, I had a couple of strips written along with a general idea for how to conclude the story arc. I didn’t intend to go on such a long break, but other stuff got in the way. After the election, I had to scrap most of what I’d written and I came up with this plot twist instead.
Yay, welcome back! Looks like you got another good one going. Unfortunately, with the election of the Sludge Monster, you will not want for storylines.
Yes, I’m sure our new president will provide us with more than enough comedic material.
Will Rogers famously said that he did not make up jokes, he just read the news and reported the facts. I used to think that was funny.
Well it depends. Your new master seems to take offence at everything and everything. You might get listed as un American and will next be seen in the work gangs building a wall to LMAGA
Hooray! I check this site once in a while; thanks for the update! It’s always on point ^^
And I guess artists and comedians are going to have a lot of material in the next four years D:
Thanks for continuing to check the site! I’ll be updating regularly going forward (if all goes well, and so far it is).
Although I do have to say, contrary to what you might think, the election has actually made things more challenging for me as a cartoonist. For a while I wasn’t sure if I could continue this comic at all. IMO what’s going on in this country (and the world) isn’t particularly funny, and political humor can normalize or trivialize even as it mocks. I want to be careful not to do that. So in reality, this just got a lot harder!
Steven Colbert said something similar.
And yeah, normalizing has been a massive problem for the last year and a half
Aw, I was hoping poking fun would keep us all sane 🙁 But I didn’t stop to think of the possible trivializing effect…
And once again GS ends up covered in it. Time to earn your pay, team!
