Episode 293: Realism and Representation
So Gyno-Star’s overly-sexualized look got fixed. But things aren’t quite back to normal for her. I don’t know, maybe she should try having a more average body for a while. But I doubt she’ll be interested in that…
IN OTHER NEWS…
I’M LAUNCHING MY PATREON TODAY!
Are you familiar with Patreon? Think of it like a subscription or premium membership; you become a patron by pledging a monthly amount of your choice (it can be as little as $1). Patrons get rewards like access to exclusive content, and everyone gets MORE GYNO-STAR COMICS. Click below to check out my Patreon page and learn all about it:
And spread the word too! The more people who join, the more regularly I can make Gyno-Star updates. And then everybody wins!
At some point, I hope to be able to donate…but an ‘average’ size hero could be interesting for a while.
I could use myself as a photo reference. 🙂
Hey she looks average! 😀 That’s what we want in our superheroes right?
You know, small-breasted women also need someone to look up to.
Women that exercise intensively tend to have low body fat, even across the chest. If you cut back on the work outs, then body fat will return to normal (along with your menstrual cycle) and the breasts will generally return to their pre-programmed size(s). Now, if you keep eating 4000 calories a day like when you were working out, then expect to see the hips and waist also accumulate some insulation.
Well, the good news is, with this alteration, she can always exercise to get a more athletic figure.
This is true, although if you look at the Sports Illustrated body issue, it turns out that very athletic people have a wide variety of body types. I think it depends on the sport of choice, and also just what cards you’re dealt body-wise.
Love this development – can’t wait to see how this storyline will resolve. Thanks for bringing some sharp social commentary to comics.
Also interested to see how your Patreon campaign works out. I just pledged $1/month and encouraged my FB friends to check you out. Good luck!
Thanks so much for your support!
Was wondering how she’d show up. I really hope she doesn’t have to worry about massive organ failure. (Was that the formula, or just a side-effect of that ridiculous body?)
Was wondering how she’d show up. Nice save! I really hope she doesn’t have to worry about massive organ failure. (Was that the formula, or just a side-effect of that ridiculous body?)
Possibly it was the body. Or maybe it was an effect only seen in rats and not humans. Or maybe, massive organ failure is imminent. We’ll just have to find out.
In that case, we’ll miss her and never forget her sacrifice! Now, how do we upgrade that body?
Obviously her pink formulation is different, though.
I wonder what would happen if the Pink Gazer trains her eyes on the Malefactor. That should be interesting.
Malefactor is SUCH a good name.
Maybe Gyno-Star could do a bit of fine-tuning, by having Objectifier look at her with just one eye, or get him to blink a lot.
Normcore gaze – hmm. Oh, the weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth she could unleash at a bodybuilder’s gym or fashion shoot…
(Although if it was truly norm core she’s have ended up in a pullover and jeans).
And now I feel bad about the fashion shoot mention… :S

Today I learned “normcore” is a thing.
Not sure which is more hypocritical: Whatshername turning Gynostar into what she thinks a woman should look like or Gynostar having a problem with not looking like a model.
Haha oh man the last panel made me laugh.
Hey, it *does* kinda look like a rough draft!
