My working headcanon: Gyno-Star was originally a wannabe conventional superheroine, but either she got disgusted with the life or something bad happened along the way, so now she’s trying to be a feminist superheroine. Except she’s never done it before and it’s a *really* steep learning curve for her. That would explain quite a bit, including how she got so completely stymied by a damn *beer commercial*.
My working headcanon: Gyno-Star became a feminist superheroine only very recently; she’s learning a *lot* of things on the fly and isn’t really in tune with that objectification thing. That would explain quite a bit, including how she got so completely stymied by a damn *beer commercial*.

Gyno-Star does send some mixed messages.
This is why this strip is so funny. It can subvert both the super-heroine trope and the militant feminist trope by lampshading both at once. 🙂
That’s how I feel too! XD
…I can handle the hits on the men, no problem.
I feel guilty as Hell every time you get me to laugh at the other side.
Exactly! At first I wondered, ‘Is this a celebration or parody of feminism?’ Thn I thought, ‘Why can’t it be both?’
She shops in her costume?
Her Gyno Sense must have a pretty short range, or it would be on ALL THE TIME.
