“They [gays] can get married. But they abide by the same law as everyone else. They can marry a man if they’re a woman. Or they can marry a woman if they’re a man.”
I adore that argument… yes, true, a gay man has the same right to marry a woman that I do, and a lesbian is just as free to marry a man as any other woman. But I have the right to marry the person I love.
Great punchline! Love the eye-roll in 3rd panel. 😀 A lot easier to see those expressions now with you drawing them a bit closer to camera. I could do with them being even a little closer to camera still, but it’s a definite improvement. 😀
I’m pretty sure his wife having a political career didn’t make him gay. Kind of sounds like she’s running out of excuses to get women back to being housewives instead of career women again.
She’s right! That’s it, I’m going back to the days when I don’t have to worry about voting, cos I’m not allowed. That’ll save me lots of time thinking about stuff. And owning property? Who wants that when I can instead depend entirely on a man to support me? I’ve been doing life all wrong!
Gyno-Star’s eye-roll in panel 3 is *priceless.*

So doesn’t the entire schtik of “Stay at Home Mommy” imply there’s a yet unseen “Go to Work Daddy”? That poor schlub.
He’s a Republican…that already sets his base chance for homosexuality at around 60%.
