aaahahahaha
I like the sailboat painting.
Entirely Simpsons inspired.
Poor Siri, it’s not her fault google is better at finding prostitutes than helping women 😛
That’s true!
ummm. There is a reason why siri can’t find an abortion clinic. i would be hard pressed to find a single such place that labeled itself, on a map or with an address, by using that phrase. Likewise, the same newstories say it can find a condom, but not the morning after pill. “morning after pill” is niether a brand name nor a product-rather vernacular for a product. A search for “plan b” would probably be far more effective.
Just like with google, you need to understand how the service works to use it best.
Actually, that’s exactly the point. Siri’s programmers are overwhelmingly male. It didn’t occur to them that people looking for abortion services would not be able to find them using the word “abortion.” It also didn’t occur to them that women might want to find certain birth control methods and would use the vernacular instead of the actual product name. It did occur to them that it would be funny to have Siri tell you where to bury a body or where to find a prostitute, though. Siri is marketed as an intelligent search, and in many ways it is. But it’s extremely telling to note the ways that it isn’t.
Given what she did to those unicorn factory workers, that’s a *very* poor choice of words.
