I love some of the arguments I’ve heard for this. “Corporations are made up of people! Therefore they’re people!” You know, like how houses are made up of bricks, therefore they’re bricks.
I’ll admit that corporations are made up people. …Much like the Borg of Star Trek. One’s got masses of drones that don’t think for themselves, the other’s the Borg.
Corporations have been ‘executed’ just look at Lehman Bros. Allowed to die. What I want to see is them go to prison, stripped of their ill gotten gain.
Think this may be the best yet.
hahaha I agree. it’s exceptionally funny and scathing.
Wow, that…actually hits the nail on the head very hard.
actually the best thing ive ever heard on that subject is “I refuse to believe that corporations are people until Texas executes one.” 🙂
My version is: “Paid advertising is to free speech what prostitution is to free sex.”
Except that prostitutes have higher standards than most advertising agencies.

“How is this even an argument?”….Kinda sad how often I’ve asked that question.

What’s really unfortunate is that in many countries corporations were legally recognized as people before women were.
