That last comment insults the bespectacled woman on so many levels. Fangirls are just wasting their times using comic conventions as meeting places with men, aren’t they?
It’s not impossible. I met my husband at a Doctor Who fan club, and a couple of my friends met their signifigant others at similar venues. If you’re lucky, you can find a guy who enjoys the same things you do and still understands fantasy vs reality.
I wouldn’t necessarily say that. I’ve met tons of cool people, both men and women, at cons. I think this guy represents a certain type you might find, but not all the guys at comic cons are like that.
I’ve read all your fantastic comics without commenting before. But when I saw the triforce on that guy’s shirt, I had to comment and tell you how awesome you are.
I can’t wait to see how Gynostar handles “The Loser” as a villian. In my experience you are really good at handling male faults with humor but without being a snob about it.
Eh, I’m sure absolutely nothing will come of this whatsoever.

Just the sterotypical view, but for the most part, were all down to earth…some what, lol.
I would agree but for different reasons. I admit to assuming most women at conventions have already found a geeky partner.
Why am I thinking this guy might be a future super villain or serial killer?
Stay tuned…
And did his gal pal just get friend-zoned there? From the look on her face, I wonder how she’ll get his attention.
Because the best way to get the attention of a super-hero or heroine is to devise an evil scheme and have them foil it. It’s the logical solution!

Aw, thanks. I love that you’re enjoying the comics, and I especially love it when people notice the little things.
Is the girl with the glasses wearing a Firefly T-shirt?
Yes.
Fake geek girl! Fake geek girl! All geek girls are fake, right? And that’s horrible?
Blue Sun baby.
Same shirt River slashed Jayne for wearing.
“He looks better in red.”

Whuffo no updates since 15 July? Is there something amiss in Rebeccaland? Concerned readers want to know.
Starting to exhibit withdrawal symptoms. Need Gynostar fix.
@…I especially love it when people notice the little things.
Okay: Sam just got Jeff Smith to sign her copy of Bone #1.
I especially love it when artists include little things for me to notice.
-Harrow.
Woot! ^^ It’s nice to see a mention of Bone.
Maybe she didn’t notice him because his lack of confidence caused his Triforce to fade?
In terms of finding a partner at a convention : wearing a black imperial officer uniform always drew the wrong kind of attention.
The guy looks like Don Knotts.
